Camp Arnold

Founded in 1966, and owned and operated by The Salvation Army. We are located on 670 pristine acres, with a spectacular view of Mount Rainier, secluded meadows, and a breath taking wetland beaver habitat. We have 3 miles of nature trails, canoeing on our peaceful lake, a challenge course, climbing wall, beautiful Nature Center, outdoor playing fields, modern cabins, indoor gymnasium, outdoor amphitheater, dining hall, large outdoor swimming pool, chapel, outdoor and indoor activity areas, and The Old Pumphouse Espresso.

We offer several summer camp, conference/retreat, team building, outdoor education, and adventure opportunities. Summer Camp experiences are offered based upon the age of the camper and are outlined further throughout the site. We are available for daily, weekly or weekend rentals by schools, churches and other groups. Our Outdoor Education classes and Team Building experiences are specially tailored to suit your needs.

What do we do at Camp Arnold?

Campfire Stories

Levi and Caterra, two young teens living with their single mother, didn’t really understand what it meant to have a deep relationship with God. That all changed when the two began interacting with other youth from all walks of life at The Salvation Army’s Camp Arnold in Eatonville, Washington. It was through this experience that the siblings now realize the deep need for Christ in their lives and the incredible difference it has made. Watch them share how the experience at Camp Arnold made a positive impact on them at such pivotal time in their lives.
